Gitanjali Peace Foundation is a non-governmental organization dedicated to the holistic betterment of society. Founded by S. Gitanjali, our organization is committed to making a positive impact through various initiatives focused on education, skill development, and training. Our primary focus areas include empowering women and children, ensuring their well-being and growth. Registered and approved by the Government of India through its Ministry of Finance, Gitanjali Peace Foundation operates with integrity and transparency. We hold registration under section 12AA of the IT Act, 1961, and donations made to our foundation are exempted under section 80G of the IT Act, 1961. This allows us to effectively utilize resources for the benefit of those in need. Our activities span a wide range of areas, covering women and child welfare, upliftment of marginalized communities including Dalits and differently-abled individuals, disaster management, provision of safe drinking water, education and literacy enhancement, elderly welfare, labor welfare and rehabilitation, consumer rights advocacy, income generation for women through Self-Help Groups (SHGs), environmental conservation, food processing, healthcare, counseling and guidance services, HIV/AIDS awareness, housing for the underprivileged, human rights advocacy, promotion of art and culture, advancement of biotechnology and science, organic farming, urban development, poverty alleviation, vocational training, and sports and youth affairs.
